Hi, I’m Liz — a designer who believes clarity is a form of kindness.

For the past decade, I’ve worked as a brand and marketing designer creating campaigns, systems, and experiences used by millions of people. Eight of those years were spent in-house at TransLink, designing for one of the most diverse audiences you can imagine — everyone from commuters to tourists to kids learning to ride transit for the first time.

That work shaped how I design today: with empathy, usability, and accessibility at the core. My goal isn’t just to make things look good, but to make information feel easier, friendlier, and more human. I love turning complex ideas into clean, confident visuals that help people make better decisions.

I get especially energized by the intersection of brand and growth — where strategy meets clarity, and where great design directly impacts behaviour. I enjoy building scalable systems, fast-moving campaign creative, and landing pages that convert without ever losing sight of the brand’s personality.

Outside of work, I run a small branding studio supporting mission-driven businesses and events. I believe in design that uplifts communities and creates momentum for good ideas. Whether I’m building a visual identity, creating a campaign framework, or shaping a cross-channel design system, my approach stays the same: collaborative, considered, human.

If you’re looking for a designer who blends strong craft with real-world practicality — and who genuinely cares about the people on the other end of the work — I’d love to connect.

My Approach

Clarity first, always.

Good design reduces friction. If someone can understand something quickly — even when they’re distracted, busy, or overwhelmed — that’s good design. I’ve built campaigns for millions of riders, which taught me that clarity isn’t a style choice; it’s a responsibility.

Same designer, though — you have not been catfished.

Building real digital experiences.

I’ve spent the last decade designing for people on the move — literally. At TransLink, my work appeared on buses, trains, websites, billboards, and anywhere else a commuter might glance while trying to get through their day.
Designing in that environment taught me three things:

  1. Clarity beats cleverness.

  2. Accessibility is non-negotiable.

  3. Real-world design has to work whether someone cares or not.

Now, I specialize in the sweet spot between brand and growth: the place where good design meets measurable outcomes. I love building systems that scale, campaigns that resonate, and landing pages that guide people exactly where they want to go.

I also run a small branding studio where I help mission-based businesses and events find their voice and show up beautifully in the world. Purpose keeps my work grounded; craft keeps it sharp.

If you like design with heart, structure, and just a little bit of cheek, we’ll get along great.
